Welcome to Colored Pencil Layers! Curious how different binders, papers, and pencil pressures change the way color stacks up? Browse the boards, compare notes from your own test pages, and ask questions about thin outlines, crosshatching, or burnished gradients. Your observations are welcome here.

Over the last weeks (months?) I have been hard at work on the pens clustering. Right now only the inks get clustered into a public (and somewhat cleaned up) list, with reviews, descriptions, leaderboards, and sharing of colors and tags. Eventually, the pens will receive the same treatment. Obviously, this is a big task and it will still take a while to complete, _however_ you can already have a look at the [pens by popularity leaderboard](https://www.fountainpencompanion.com/pages/pens_by_pop...
